Two separate vehicle break-ins occur days apart in the Charleston area: CPD
CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) — Two suspects were arrested in separate vehicle break-ins that occurred days apart from each other in the Charleston area. On April 18 on James Island, according to the Charleston Police Department (CPD), an officer was dispatched to Barbados Way around 1:30 a.m. for reports of two juveniles breaking into vehicles. The suspects fled when the officer arrived.

Crews responding to structure fire on Spruill Avenue
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – North Charleston fire crews are responding to a Friday afternoon structure fire. The fire was reported at Master Craft Upholstery on Spruill Avenue, according to the North Charleston Fire Department. Firefighters reported seeing heavy fire and smoke when they arrived. A portion of Spruill Avenue is blocked.
Man leads police on chase in Folly Beach after hitting vehicle; had gun and drugs: FBPD
FOLLY BEACH, S.C. (WCIV) — A minor traffic violation in Folly Beach Thursday evening led to a police pursuit and a man facing multiple charges. Shaun Anthony Kelly, 40, is charged with failing to stop for law enforcement, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, hit-and-run to unattended vehicle, and possession of MDMA. He was booked at the Sheriff Al Cannon Detention Center on April 26, according to jail records.
