National Association of Letter Carriers holds 32nd annual ‘Stamp out Hunger’ food drive
BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) -Every 2nd Saturday of May for the past 32 years, the National Association of Letter Carriers has run a food drive called ‘Stamp Out Hunger’. Mail carriers, volunteers, and local food banks collect canned and non-perishable foods and prepare them for delivery to those in need. The USPS on Cava Drive in Clarksburg joined the event, shipping food out to at least 12 different locations in Harrison County.
