The city of Zachary has introduced TextMyGov text alerts, a new messaging service aimed at keeping residents informed about important updates, a news release said. This service will deliver timely notifications directly to residents' phones regarding road closures, emergencies, holiday schedules, garbage collection and other pertinent information.
