Verona Softball Halts Comeback Effort For 11th Victory
VERONA, NJ - Verona Varsity Softball secured their 11th victory of the season on Monday, but not without some late-game stress, courtesy of Nutley sluggers. After a three-run sixth inning put the Hillbillies up 5-1 heading into the final frame, Nutley answered with three of their own before their comeback effort was sealed shut.
