Massive Swarm of Termites Seen Moving Between Eunice and Iota, Louisiana

Termites are swarming in South Louisiana and a massive swarm was recently spotted over Hwy 91 in Acadiana.

Ashley Borque spotted the swarm between Eunice and Iota last weekend.

As Rob Perillo put it, they were moving in a “curtain-like formation” above the highway. Termites usually begin swarming in mid-May and it lasts through most of June.
