Daggett man accused of threatening UP officials to be prosecuted by AG's Office
MENOMINEE, MI— The Michigan Attorney General’s Office will prosecute the case against a Menominee County man accused of threatening a number of government officials. Peter Sand, 22, of Daggett, is charged with false report or threat of terrorism, using the internet/telecommunications to commit terrorism, and felony using a computer to commit a crime.
Woman charged in Marinette car-pedestrian crash pleads guilty
MARINETTE, WI— The driver in a Marinette accident that injured a young pedestrian has pleaded guilty in the case. Amber Renner, 36, was westbound on Carney Avenue last December when she heard something in the back seat, where her child was. She said she turned to look behind her, and when she turned back around, 17-year-old Bryce Steinfath was in the crosswalk. He was struck and suffered significant injuries.
