Our Sympathies Extended to the Family of Patricia Ann Berry
Patricia Ann Berry was born September 13, 1949, to Lessie Mae Combs and Matherine Yarbrough in Wetumka, Oklahoma. She completed her education in the Wetumka Public School system. Patricia was raised in the Church of God in Christ on the north side of Wetumka, later becoming a member of First Baptist Church North, then finally Living Water PHC, all in Wetumka.
Eufaula sprints to finish at State Track meet
The Eufaula Ironhead track program continues to produce great athletes and this year was no different as Ledger Folsom placed 15th in the entire state in the Class 3A 100-meter dash with a time of 11.60. Folsom is an all around athlete for the Ironheads as he also plays quarterback.
Memorial ride honors 5 teens killed in Henryetta murder-suicide
The victims, Brittany Brewer, 16, Rylee Allen, 17, Tiffany Guess, 13, Michael Mayo, 15, and Ivy Webster, 14, were among the six people killed by convicted rapist Jesse McFadden in May 2023.

The Henryetta Lady Knight Track and Field Team won their Class 3A Regional Meet in Prague. The Lady Knights finished with 147 team points and scored gold in four individual races and two relays, and earned several silver and bronze medals at the meet.
