Hensley Legal Group, Indy Humane to host 2nd annual Pawpalooza adoption event

INDIANAPOLIS — Indy Humane is teaming up with Hensley Legal Group to put on its second annual Pawpalooza this Saturday.

The adoption event will be held from noon to 2 p.m. at 7920 Michigan Rd in Indianapolis. Complimentary donuts, coffee, chocolate milk and games will be available for attendees.

Hensley Legal Group will cover adoption fees for all pets taken in during the event. During last year’s Pawpalooza, 25 animals were adopted.

“Financial considerations should never stand between a caring family and the perfect dog,” HLG founder John Hensley said via release.

HLG has been collaborating with Indy Humane since 2021. The legal firm has helped place more than 100 dogs via its “Furever Friends Fridays” program.

For “Furever Friends Fridays,” HLG features a different adoptable animal in its newsletter and on its social media accounts each week.

At this year’s Pawpalooza, Indy Humane and HLG hope to top the 25 adoptions 2023’s event yielded.

“Pets give us so much, and they ask for so little in return,” John Hensley said via release. “If you give one of these animals a chance, you won’t regret it.”
