Winning $100,000 Powerball ticket sold in Indiana

    By Matt Adams,

INDIANAPOLIS – Someone in Indianapolis bought a winning Powerball ticket worth $100,000.

According to the Hoosier Lottery, the ticket matched four out of five numbers and the Powerball. The ticket also had the Power Play add-on, which ups the amount of a non-jackpot prize. In this case, the Power Play was 2X, doubling the typical $50,000 prize to $100,000.

The winning numbers for the April 10 drawing were 6-7-12-24-36 with a Powerball of 15. No one won the jackpot.

The winning ticket was purchased at Madhar Petroleum located at 7130 Southeastern Ave. in Indianapolis.

The next Powerball drawing is set for Saturday, April 13, with an estimated jackpot of $46 million.
