Woman Surrenders After Report of Gunshot in East Salem Home, No Injuries Reported
An early morning disturbance in a Marion County home, where a gunshot was reported, concluded with a 58-year-old woman's peaceful surrender, according to local authorities. After receiving a call about a shot fired inside a residence on the 4800 block of Buffalo Drive SE at 6 a.m., Saturday, Marion County Sheriff's Office and the SWAT team quickly made their way to the scene. Despite the woman involved in the incident reportedly refusing to leave the home, with negotiations by deputies, she finally agreed to end the standoff without further incident, KPTV reports.
