Lance Broncho Facing Five Felony Charges in Shooting Death
Lance Broncho has been bound over to Seventh Judicial Court on five felony charges, including first degree murder. It follows a preliminary hearing on Tuesday. The Bonneville County Prosecuting Attorney filed charges of first-degree murder, aggravated battery, robbery and unlawful possession of a firearm by an ex-felon in March. The criminal complaint claims Broncho shot and killed Eric Leask and shot Ormead Smith on March 9 in Idaho Falls during a home invasion.
Local shop fire causes around $350,000 loss
A fire at a local shop near 4000 E and 100 N on April 24 caused a loss of nearly $350,000 according to a press release from Central Fire District. CFD stated they were dispatched to the site at 7:36 a.m., after a report of smoke coming from the shop was called in. Dispatch had reported a neighbor could see a large amount of smoke coming from the outbuilding. Upon arrival, deputies reported heavy black smoke emanating from the 60 by 40 foot shop on the property.
