Six displaced after fire on McEwen Drive

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Six people were displaced after a fire on Monday evening, according to Huntsville Fire & Rescue (HFR).

HFR Assistant Fire Marshal Jerry Tanner said seven trucks responded to the fire on McEwen Drive near Pulaski Pike around 5:50 p.m.

No one was injured, Tanner said, but six adults were displaced as a result of the fire. Red Cross assisted those displaced.

Officials say the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
