The Mill Wharf to Temporarily Close for Major Renovations and Brand Refresh in Scituate
A longstanding waterfront favorite in Scituate is preparing for a major makeover. The Mill Wharf will temporarily close its doors at 23 Mill Wharf Plaza on November 14, 2026, for what the restaurant describes as “essential building improvements.” The team expects to welcome guests back in spring/summer 2027, pending construction timelines. In addition to a complete interior design renovation, the project will also include a brand refresh and a menu overhaul.

A Canton pizza place closing for good, a new ramen spot coming to Braintree and an iconic Scituate restaurant undergoing renovations are among the foodie news on the South Shore this week. Crisp has closed its Canton restaurant after about five years of serving South Shore-style bar pizza.
