EMERALD ISLE, N.C. — The Emerald Isle Parrot Head Club’s 21st Annual Beach Bike Poker Run will be this Saturday from 11:30-6 p.m. at the Emerald Club in Emerald Isle. The Swansboro girls soccer team played its final game of the season Monday, May 13; and the team’s coach coached his final game at Swansboro. The Pirates lost to Northern Nash 4-2 in overtime in the first round of the 3A state playoffs. They ended the year 7-11-4 overall.
