Mackay, Butte County voters decide levy questions
Voters in the Mackay and Butte County school districts decide the fate of levy elections in the Tuesday, May 21 primary election. Mackay school officials are asking voters to approve a levy to pay for maintenance and operations in the school system. The request is to collect $85,000 a year for two fiscal years via property taxes within the district. A total of $170,000 would be collected between July 1 and June 30, 2026.
