PALESTINE, Texas (KLTV) - A Houston man accused in the 2023 killing of a Palestine woman has been booked in the Anderson County Jail. Brittany Johnson was found murdered in her home on the night of Thursday, March 2, 2023. Her ex-boyfriend, Joseph Christopher Cole, was sought as a suspect. An Anderson County grand jury delivered an indictment for a charge of murder in August later that year. As of Thursday, Cole was booked into the Anderson County Jail with a $1 million bond.
