Modern Mexican steakhouse, Toca Madera, is set to open its first Houston location this June at the ground floor of The Pavilion at The Allen, located at 1755 Allen Parkway Suite 101, Houston, TX.

Toca Madera, an immersive dining experience operated by global hospitality group Noble 33 – with existing locations in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Scottsdale, will span nearly 14,000 square feet with a 393-seat count.

Houstonians can look forward to an outdoor dining patio overlooking Eleanor Tinsley Park, along with two full-service bars, a lounge, a private member’s club, and a private dining room paired with an elevated, high-energy atmosphere and nightly live entertainment.

“Bringing a Noble 33 concept to Texas has always been a goal of ours, so we are beyond excited and ready for the June opening of Toca Madera,” says Mikey Tanha, Co-founder and CEO of Noble 33 in a statement. “Houston marks Toca Madera’s fourth and largest location – a testament to the city’s international flare and palate and we can’t wait for all to enjoy the Toca Madera experience.”

The signature design by Monochrome is inspired by the restaurant’s Mexican cuisine reimagined into a modern, organic aesthetic. Bold architectural elements combined with warm luxurious finishes of handcrafted custom woodwork, plush velvet upholsteries, intimate lighting, and biophilic design create a transcending multi-sensory dining experience. Distinct highlights include the ‘The Bird’s Nest’, an immersive art piece that encapsulates the lounge area in an incredible nest-like structure featuring a lush greenscape in addition to one-of-a-kind art pieces and a sweeping undulated wood slat ceiling.

“Toca Madera Houston offers a unique high touch dining experience that speaks to all the senses,” says Tosh Berman, Co-founder and Chairman of Noble 33. “Great detail and attention is given to the architecture, design and soundscape, all combined with an incredible menu for a bespoke dining journey.”

The Houston menu, with Executive Chef Christian Brennen at the helm, features Toca Madera’s signature dishes. Guests will be transported to Mexico City through a selection of modern Mexican cuisine prepared with sustainable, organic ingredients. Highlights include the rose-shaped Sashimi Mexicano with ahi tuna, cucumber, avocado, pomegranate, chile de árbol, and leche de tigre and A5 Wagyu Tacos with crispy wonton, jalapeño slaw, pickled horseradish, cilantro, and kizami wasabi.

At the heart of Toca Madera Houston’s menu is a carefully curated selection of premium Australian and Japanese beef. The Toca Steak offerings include Wagyu, Kobe, and Prime options ranging from two to 40 ounces and the famous Tomahawk + Bone Marrow, served flaming and floating over salsa verde, presented and sliced by chef tableside.

The dynamic farm-to-glass mixology program, helmed by Beverage Director Carla Lorenzo, emphasizes fresh, seasonal ingredients while offering a vast and versatile selection of tequila and mezcal. Guests can expect Toca Madera’s cult-favorite cocktails including Como la Flor, served with edible flowers and rose air, engaging all of the senses.

Amplifying the high-touch experience, Toca Madera offers nightly entertainment including live musicians, local and international resident DJs, and fire performers.

Noble 33 looks forward to expanding its footprint with upcoming openings including Meduza Mediterrania in Houston; Toca Madera, Casa Madera and Sparrow Italia in Miami, Florida; and 1587 Prime, the recently announced partnership with Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, in Kansas City.

Toca Madera is located at the Lifestyle Pavilion at The Allen, 1755 Allen Parkway, Houston, TX 77019. The restaurant will operate six days a week to begin, from 4pm to 12am Sunday through Thursday, and 4pm to 1am Friday and Saturday.
