    Police: Hot Springs 15-month-old drowns in pool at Florida vacation rental home

    BRADENTON, Fla. – Police said an infant from Hot Springs drowned after falling into a pool while vacationing in Florida this week.

    On Wednesday afternoon around 4:15 p.m., several family members from Hot Springs who were renting the home found a 15-month-old boy unconscious at the bottom of the rental home’s pool.

    Police: 9-year-old drowns in Newport Lake

    The boy was transported to a local hospital where he later died just before 5 p.m.

    The vacation home is located on 22 Avenue West, according to the Bradenton Police Department.

    Police in Bradenton said the drowning appeared to be an accident. The identity of any family members or the toddler has not been released.
