Juneteenth celebrations planned for Saturday in Wynne, Parkin, and Forrest City
EASTERN ARKANSAS — There are three Juneteenth celebrations planned for this Saturday. One of those is in Wynne with others in Parkin and Forrest City. The Wynne celebration will begin at noon at the Odell McCallum Community Center, 325 Magnolia Street. There will be food, vendors, music, talent, bounce houses, and face painting.

The University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service, the city of Forrest City and the Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas collaborated to renovate Beech Grove Park in Forrest City.
