Two historic Shreveport buildings get final incentive, construction comes next

It’s taken more than a year to get all their ducks in a row, but the developer planning to rehab two historic Shreveport buildings says the projects are now on go. Wednesday morning, the Northwest Louisiana Finance Authority approved Payment in Lieu of Tax agreements for the redevelopment of the former Barret Elementary School at 2600 Barret St. and the Fairfield Building at 1600 Fairfield Ave.
