LINDALE — Lindale senior Jalynn Gateley signed to continue her powerlifting career at Louisiana Tech University. “I had already kind of decided on Louisiana Tech because of their academics and then I found out they had a powerlifting team, and that changed the game,” Gateley said. “Their coach reached out to Coach (Lindale powerlifting coach Jacob) Alford.
