Heat indices (feels like temperatures) will surpass 100 degrees for nearly all of the Crossroads today and tomorrow with humidity still in place. A cool front arriving overnight Thursday night will bring some heat relief dropping highs back into the 80s. An isolated shower or weak thunderstorm is possible ahead of the front on Thursday night and during the day on Friday, but currently very unlikely. Thunderstorm chances greatly increase for Mother's Day and the following Monday. Severe weather appears unlikely at the moment.
