Teen charged with woman’s death in April vehicle crash
A Rocky Mount teen is charged with misdemeanor death by vehicle and reckless driving to endanger in connection with a recent two-vehicle wreck on the east side of the city that claimed the life of a woman, according to N.C. District Court records in Edgecombe County. Representatives of Pennsylvania-based gas station and convenience store chain Wawa updated expansion plans for North Carolina on Wednesday. The first store will open Thursday in Kill Devil Hills, with additional outlets planned for Rocky Mount, Elizabeth City, Greenville, Wilson and Goldsboro by the end of 2024.
