Update: HPD searching for vehicle, subjects related to double homicide

HOBBS, New Mexico (KMID/KPEJ) – Update: The Hobbs Police Department is also seeking information about the whereabouts of a vehicle related to the investigation of the death of two Hobbs men.
The driver of a Black Ford F150 with license plate RBX008 is wanted for questioning regarding the incident.

The Hobbs Police Department is now looking for information regarding the whereabouts of three subjects after a double homicide last week.
Jacob Villegas, Erika Quintela, and Starla Franco are currently wanted by the Police Department for questioning.
According to HPD, officers responded to the 600 block of North McKinney Street at about 11:16pm on Wednesday, May 15.
Upon arrival, officers found the front door of the residence open, with a male suffering from a gunshot wound. Inside the home, a second male was seen, also suffering from a gunshot wound.
Officers and Hobbs Fire Department Emergency Medical Services attempted perform life-saving measures. Both subjects, 54-year-old David Castillo and 52-year-old Felipe Castillo, died from their injuries.
