Fairview’s Choir Spring Concert set for April 21

The Fairview Adult Choir will present its annual Spring Concert on Sunday, April 21 at 4 p.m. at Fairview Presbyterian Church. The choir will perform some of their favorite songs and hymns of praise. The concert will take place in the church sanctuary. This event is also a fund raiser for the Carl and Linda Goad Memorial Children’s Christmas Fund. A free-will offering of any amount will be received for the fund.

The Carl and Linda Goad Memorial Children’s Christmas Fund collects money throughout the year to be used at Christmas to help families with children who have incurred an unforeseen financial burden due to illness in the immediate family, job loss, or some other unexpected circumstance. Carl and Linda were both members and elders at Fairview and were very active in this outreach ministry which began in the Young Adult Sunday School Class. They both have passed away and the fund was renamed in their honor and remains an active outreach ministry in our community. Donations may also be made at any time during the year “in memory” of a loved one’s passing or “in honor” of a loved one.

Following the concert a covered-dish meal will take place in the church fellowship hall. Everyone is invited to stay for a delicious meal and a time of fellowship around the table. Rev.
