Sioux Falls man arrested for assault, then found with stolen gun, police say
Updated as of May 6, 2024: Adam James Tesch pleaded guilty to possession of a stolen vehicle, and was sentenced to probation for 42 months. He also pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana of more than 2 ounces but less than a pound, for which he was sentenced to 180 days in jail and probation for 42 months, to run concurrent with the previously mentioned charge, court records show. All other charges have been dismissed.

According to Sioux Falls Police, a 68-year-old woman received a pop-up on her iPad that said it was Apple Security on May 1. The message told her to call a number, and she did. The answering party claimed to be a bank. They told the woman that there were problems with her account, and they transferred her to multiple other people.
