Holt County collision injures 1
(Mound City) -- One person was injured in a two-vehicle collision in Holt County late Tuesday night. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred at the 76.6 mile marker of northbound Interstate 29 shortly before 11:30 p.m. Authorities say a 2018 Chevy Equinox, driven by 49-year-old Kevin Davis of Craig, was northbound on I-29 when it struck a deer in the roadway. As the Chevy slowed, authorities say it was struck from behind by a 2012 Freighliner Cascadia driven by 33-year-old Victor Andritchi of Boring, Oregon. The Chevy traveled off the east side of the road and came to rest on its wheels while the Freightliner came to a controlled stop on the shoulder.
