Kansas woman jailed for drive-by shooting of 15-year-old
ATCHISON COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities investigating an August 2023 shooting that injured a teen have arrested Dreyona K. Seymore, 21 of Atchison. Just after 4p.m. August 26, police responded to a shooting that had just occurred in the 400 block U Street in Atchison, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson. First responders found a 15-year-old girl had been shot while she was sitting in a parked vehicle.
FedEx truck and GMC Sierra crash on Maywood Road near Forest City
A traffic collision on Maywood Road about 1.5 miles north of Forest City, Missouri, resulted in injuries to two drivers on Tuesday, April 17, 2024. At approximately 12:17 p.m., a 2018 GMC FedEx truck, driven by 29-year-old Luz M. Silva of St. Joseph, Missouri, was involved in an accident with a 2015 GMC Sierra, driven by 33-year-old Ethan W. Woolsey of Forest City, Missouri.
St. Joseph motorcyclist dies in North Belt crash
A 26-year-old St. Joseph motorcyclist died after crashing into a car pulling out of the Taco Bell on the North Belt Highway. St. Joseph police report the fatal crash occurred at 3100 North Belt Highway around 9:30 Wednesday night. According to police, the car pulled out of Taco Bell onto the Belt and the motorcycle hit the driver’s side of the vehicle. The motorcyclist, identified as Anthony Baca, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle suffered minor injuries.
