Crews break ground on new emergency room in DeRidder
DERIDDER, La. (KPLC) - Work has started on a new emergency room and women’s health center in DeRidder. Beauregard Memorial Hospital’s current ER has served 20,000 patients in the past year, while it’s only designed to serve about 13,000, health system officials said. The new ER will expand the hospital’s capacity and add updated technology like onsite CT scanners.
