Lady Panthers win thriller, drop game two against McPherson
Katherine Mazouch was the hero a couple times last year as a freshman on the Lady Panther softball team. She reclaimed her title Friday afternoon in Salina after delivering a game-winning double in the sixth inning. The Lady Panthers held on to beat Salina South 6-5. Great Bend dropped game two to McPherson 6-0.

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Caprock soccer star Kristyn Oliver signed on Wednesday to continue her soccer career at Hesston College. During the documentary project, students from USD 398 (Peabody-Burns) learned about silphium, helped plant a plot and created a mural by the plot. Flint Hills Counterpoint celebrates the premier of ‘The Silphium Plot’ a documentary art film with live original music. The film documents the establishment of a silphium plot at Flint Hills Counterpoint Home Base and is by filmmaker Cyan Meeks and composer Susan Mayo in partnership with The Salina Land Institute and the Peabody/Burns High School.
