Clarksville High School celebrates 10 signees to college teams
CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Clarksville High School hosted another signing to celebrate 10 senior athletes headed to the collegiate level to compete. Football’s running back Payton Langan became the sixth signee of the 2024 Wildcat class, signing to the University of Wisconsin-Steven’s point. Baseball’s Christian Henderson, a RHP and the District 13-4A pitcher of the year, became baseball’s fifth signee, signing to Carson-Newman.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Northeast High Eagles and Rossview High Hawks both traveled to Clarksville High for a first-round matchup in the 13-4A district tournament on Wednesday, May 1. While Northeast High took an early lead in a pitcher’s duel, the Hawks scored three unanswered runs late in the contest to take a 3-1 victory as they advance to the next round.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Rossview Hawks traveled to Clarksville High for the District 13-4A tournament semifinal against the Clarksville Wildcats. A game that included great pitching, a lengthy rain delay and timely hitting, culminated in a comeback effort from Clarksville that fell just short, and the Hawks would advance to the district championship, winning 10-8.
