Motorcyclist killed in Jefferson County crash
A resident of Crystal City, Missouri, was killed in a Jefferson County crash when his motorcycle hit a barrier that separated the lanes of Interstate 55. Brandon J. Copeland, 25, of Crystal City, Missouri, was killed in the crash.
Crystal City man dies in Interstate 55 motorcycle crash
A man from Crystal City was killed in a motorcycle accident on Interstate 55 north of Route Z on Thursday evening. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Brandon J. Copeland, 25, was traveling northbound on his Yamaha MT-09 at approximately 6:05 p.m. when he lost control of the motorcycle. The bike veered off the left side of the roadway and struck the center cable barrier, ejecting Copeland.

Compass Health Network, Jefferson County Community Partnership, Mercy Hospital Jefferson, Jefferson County Health Department and Jefferson Franklin Community Action Corporation encourage all Jefferson County residents to complete the anonymous online Community Health Needs Assessment survey.
