New Principals Named for Three Sumner County Schools
Dr. Scott Langford, Sumner County Director of Schools, recently announced three new principals for the upcoming school year. Jackson Howell has been named the principal of Middle Technical College High School at Portland. Mr. Howell has previously served as the principal of Portland East Middle for the past 13 years. Mr. Howell is replacing Emily Goddard, who has accepted a position with the district TeachSumner program.

The survey took place from July 12, 2023 to August 23, 2023 and had more than 20,000 respondents.
