Man Charged with Criminal Homicide for Fatally Shooting Man Inside Nashville Convenience Store
Thomas Maxwell, 24, is charged with criminal homicide for Thursday’s 10 p.m. fatal shooting of Dejuan Gadsden, 20, inside the Citgo at 3900 Clarksville Pike. Officers responded to a robbery alarm at the convenience store and found Maxwell, who was armed with two guns, exiting the business. He was detained. Officers then found Gadsden, who had been shot multiple times, deceased inside. More Crime News!

A pedestrian struck and critically injured in a hit & run collision at 12:40 a.m. on March 18th near the intersection of Dickerson Pike and Trinity Lane died this morning. Franklin Nicholson, 50, of Nashville, was attempting to cross Trinity Lane when a silver sedan, possibly a Chevrolet Impala, turned right from Dickerson Pike onto Trinity Lane and hit Nicholson. The car fled west on Trinity Lane after the impact.

Robbery attempt leaves one person seriously injured in East Nashville
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Metro Nashville Police are investigating a robbery at a home in East Nashville that sent one person to the hospital early Monday morning. According to the MNPD, officers were called to the 800 block of North 2nd Street around 3:30 a.m. for a robbery in progress. One person was found assaulted at the scene and was transported with life-threatening injuries.
