Here are The Herald-Mail's 2024 All-Washington County high school boys track and field selections. Johnston, a senior, was the county leader in the 300 hurdles (38.97) and long jump (21-3) and ranked second in the 110 hurdles (15.12). He also anchored the Hubs' 4x400 relay team to a county record (3:24.99) at the state championships. He won county titles in the 300 hurdles and long jump, CMC Large School titles in the 300 hurdles and 4x400, and placed fourth in the 300 hurdles in Class 3A at states.

Interchange improvements are scheduled to begin Monday, June 10, 2024, at Interstate 81 exit 317 (Route 11) in Frederick County near Winchester.
