Suspects denied bond in deadly Utica nightclub shooting case
JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - The three men arrested in connection with a deadly shooting at a Utica nightclub have been denied bond. On Tuesday, Hinds County Judge Johnnie McDaniels denied bond for Anthony Brown, Eric Dixon, and Joseph Crum. He wrote that each may pose a danger to the community.

Mississippi man arrested during disturbance at restaurant, sentenced to more than 2 years in federal prison on gun charge
A Mississippi man was sentenced to 27 months in prison for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. According to court documents, Norkeithus Malik Reed, 24, of McComb, was found in possession of a firearm by the Brookhaven Police Department when responding to a complaint of a disturbance caused by Reed at an area restaurant in 2021.
