School district administrators purchase driving simulators
HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - Administrators with Perry County Schools have purchased two driving simulators for students at Perry County Central High School and Buckhorn School. The simulators were purchased through a grant approved by the Kentucky Department of Education. Administrators said they can help better prepare students for the roadways.

According to WDKY-TV, the University of Kentucky's Center of Excellence in Rural Health (UK CERH) in Hazard unveiled a tool to properly retire an American flag in early July. Per the outlet, the university's new kiosk was the idea of veterans who work at the center and felt it was needed in the community.
