The 35th Annual Lewisport Heritage Festival
The 35th Annual Lewisport Heritage Festival will be held in downtown Lewisport on Thursday, May 30th through Saturday, June 1st. Many local food trucks and beverage vendors will be set up with a variety of delicious offerings. A large turnout is expected, and there are bands playing each day of the festival, with 2 bands to enjoy on Saturday.
Owensboro Walmart to have entrance blocked for nearly a week
EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Starting next week, a Walmart superstore in Owensboro will have one of its entrances blocked for utility work. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says crews will be blocking Mt. Moria Avenue at the entrance to Walmart on KY 54 so workers can relocate buried utilities ahead of the planned highway widening project.
