On February 6, authorities said one-year-old Wyatt Mooney was having trouble breathing while at home. His mother called 911 while enroute to the hospital.

Estes caught up with the boy’s mother in Purvis and found Wyatt unconscious. The deputy began lifesaving measures by performing CPR until Wyatt regained consciousness.

Wyatt was transported to Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg where he was stabilized and eventually released.
