Southern Miss baseball knew it made the NCAA Tournament. But, entering Monday, the Golden Eagles didn’t know whom or where they’d play. But even after it found out, USM had one message: it didn’t really matter anyway; what does matter is there’s more USM baseball to play.

Southern Miss baseball is one of the best college teams in the country. The Golden Eagles’ roster is made up of many local high school grads. Sports Zone’s David Edelstein spoke with them about what message or advice they’d have for the high school student-athletes on their former teams.
