Bear spotted wandering through N.J. town
Police in Hawthorne on Thursday continue to keep an eye out for a black bear spotted in the borough a day earlier. The bear was last seen at 11:35 a.m. Wednesday in the area of Cobblers Lane between Hillcrest Avenue and Cider Mill Road, Hawthorne police said Thursday morning. The bear then ran into a wooded area.
