Turning mainly sunny and warm today but unsettled for Memorial Day

A weak system has passed through overnight with a few pop showers that may spill into early this morning.

Today will start with some clouds/fog and a possible shower, otherwise the sun will come out as we go through the day and it will be warm again with highs inland in the low 80s with 70s closer to the shore. A late day shower or storm is possible in a spot or two but not likely. Best chance looks to be in northern CT.

Memorial Day Monday will feature cloudy skies and cooler conditions. Some showers/drizzle likely even during the AM hours t with some computer models indicating more in the way of rain and some storms during the afternoon and evening. Some may be on the strong side. Today: An early morning shower in a few spots. Otherwise, turning partly to mostly sunny and warm. More humid as well with an isolated late afternoon shower or storm is possible in a town or two. Highs in the low 80s inland. 70s on the shoreline.

Tonight: Becoming cloudy, patchy fog with a passing shower possible. Lows around 60.

Memorial Day Monday: Cloudy and cooler with some showers developing with some rain and thunder at night. Highs in the low 70s.

Tuesday: Partly sunny and warmer. Highs near 80.

Wednesday: More clouds and showers likely. Highs in the mid 70s.

Thursday: Partly sunny and cooler. Highs near 70.

Friday: Mostly sunny and nice. Highs in the low 70s.

Saturday: Mainly sunny and dry. Highs in the mid 70s.
