    A 100 teenagers are working to become Midstate firemen

    (WHTM)– There are 100 teens are on track to become firefighters.

    There are 21 Midstate fire companies are participating in the “100-teens-to-lifesavers challenge” where 16 and 17-year-olds are being trained to become full-fledged firefighters.

    And they’ve learned practice is key.

    “I think it’s just going to sharpen up their skills, at least tonight, it’s just going to sharpen up their skills you know we don’t get to go to fires everyday,” Junior firefighter Aiden Goodman said.
