Hanover Township Recreation Announces Music Under the Stars Concert Series

HANOVER TOWNSHIP, NJ - There will be plenty of music under the stars in Hanover Township this summer! Hanover Township Recreation kicks off its summer concert series with the Parrotbeach band bringing a Jimmy Buffet vibe to Bee Meadow Pool in Whippany.
The concert at the Bee Meadow Pool is scheduled for Friday, June 7 at 7 p.m. (You do not need to be a pool member to attend the concert.) The Bee Meadow Pool will be open for swimming and the concession stand will also be open with Mimi’s Too of Whippany providing lip smacking snacks for purchase.
Tickets to the concert are $15 per person and can be purchased via Community Pass, in person at the Hanover Township Community Center, or via telephone by calling the Hanover Township Recreation Department at 973-428-2463. In case of poor weather, the concert will be rescheduled. However, there are NO REFUNDS.
Hanover Township’s Patriotic Celebration with Fireworks on Monday, July 1 features a concert by the Heart of Gold Band. Local musician Joe Bilotti leads a group of outstanding rockers who take the stage at the Hanover Township Municipal Complex at 7:30 p.m. and play until the fireworks at 9:15 p.m.
The grand opening of the new turf field at Brickyard Field will be celebrated at the first of the Monday night concerts on Monday, July 8 . The Hanover Township Committee members, the Hanover Township Recreation Commissioners, Concert Sponsors and dignitaries will be on hand for the inaugural event at the new field.
The Mighty SPECTRUM Band opens the Monday night series at 7 p.m. The band is one of the premier acts from the Jersey shore to the Hamptons. Five Wheel Drive takes the stage at Brickyard Field on Monday, July 15 at 7:00 p.m. playing its song list of hits from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s.
Speaking of the Jersey Shore, one of the shore’s favorite bands, The Nerds, will be in Hanover Township on Monday, July 22 at 7 p.m. bringing the beach to Morris County and Brickyard Field.
Returning again in 2024, The Kootz are the finale of the Summer Concert Series on Monday, July 29 at 7 p.m. at Brickyard. The Kootz brings its sense of fun aned “rock and roll and fiber” playlist to the stage to end the series.
The 2024 Summer Concerts Series would not be possible without the generous sponsorship of our local partners, which makes it possible to bring all the Monday night concerts to residents and neighbors of Hanover Township free of charge.
