Brian Clinton Davis, son of Phillip Clinton Davis and Darlene Bean, was found dead in his home on April 19, 2024.

He leaves behind two sons, Hayden Israel Davis and Trent Davis; his mother, Darlene Bean; and siblings, Israel Davis and Lynette Locklear. He is preceded in death by his father Phillip C. Davis.

Brian was incredibly talented at art, music and mechanics. He had the ability to draw, craft, and build things with resourcefulness and a keen eye for problem solving. He could fix anything from cars to small engines and had a knack for electronics work. He played guitar and enjoyed playing music with family and friends.

He was an avid gardener with a true green thumb, a skill passed on from his father Phillip Davis. He was well read in many subjects and shared great insights as a result. He enjoyed spending time at the river and amongst the woods and ponds around his home fishing, collecting, and exploring.

Brian held a great capacity for compassion and empathy. He loved his family and friends in an unconditional manner, even when disagreements were concerned. He loved animals and took them in with great care, including a giant pig, Ms. Piggy, that lived under his trailer, as well as his beloved dog, Jake, who never left his side upon his passing. Brian was loved by his family and those who knew him best. He will be greatly missed.

Services will be held at Hopewell Independent Baptist Church, Hamlet, in mid-May. Details forthcoming.
