According to a recent article on the website Dayton.com , modern tequila and bourbon hall Agave & Rye will open a new eatery later this year at 339 Main St, in Hamilton. The forthcoming location will be located in the former home of Ritzi Auto Body, and construction is currently underway on the eatery.

The menu focuses on tacos in imaginative flavor combinations, such as The Grogu, which pairs sweet and spicy chicken, with kung pao sauce, kimchi fried rice, peanuts and crispy carrots, or The Bang Bang, a vegetarian option that features crispy cauliflower, corn fritters, queso and spicy crispy carrots. Other menu items include the Birria Irish Nachos, which are fries smothered in birria beef, sweet and spicy bacon, queso, Oaxaca cheese, cowboy candy and fried onion strings, or a smash burger that features Oaxaca cheese, sweet and spicy bacon and traditional burger toppings.

In addition to food, the eatery has a robust cocktail program that is built around bourbon and tequila, such as the Jalapeño Pineapple Rita, a sweet and spicy margarita, as well as the Bourbon Peach Punch, made with bourbon, peach juice, fresh ginger, ginger beer and fresh lime.

The eatery is slated to open by the middle of this year, however a definitive opening date has not been announced by the company yet. What Now Columbus reached out to Agave & Rye for details on the forthcoming space, but comments from the company weren’t available at the time of this article’s publication.
