The Mankato location at 1861 Madison Avenue appears to have closed, based on unavailable online ordering and unanswered phone calls Monday morning. If the closure is confirmed, Coon Rapids would be the state’s only remaining full-service location.

Seven candidates were running for three at-large St. Paul School Board seats. The winners are: Stephanie Anderson with 22.32%, Omar Syed with 21.25%, and Uriah Ward with 20.21%. Also running were Tamara Mattison who garnered 10.89%, Teresa Glass with 10.37%, Michael Schell with 7.26% and Kris Taylor with 7.01%. Write-ins got 0.69%.

Cities Church defendants head to court to challenge charges

Hearings continued Thursday for people federally indicted in connection with the January anti-ICE protest at Cities Church in St. Paul. Defendants and their supporters packed the St. Paul Federal Courthouse this week for hearings addressing more than five dozen motions filed in the case, including requests to have charges dismissed. Two more hearings are scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Nov. 9 and Nov. 10.

Current Ward 2 St. Paul Council member Rebecca Noecker beat state District 65B Representative Maria Isa Perez-Vega by just 119 votes to become the next Ramsey County District 5 Commissioner. The total votes for Noecker were 15,829 anad for Perez-Vega 15,710. There were 22 write-ins. The seat was vacated by Rafael Ortega who did not seek reelection.
