Route 9 in Hadley road construction on Friday

HADLEY, Mass. (WWLP)– Drivers should expect delays on Route 9 in Hadley Friday due to road construction.

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) crews will be paving in the area of Mill Valley Road in Hadley from 6am to 5pm on Friday, April 19.

Mill Valley Road will be closed and a detour to South Maple Street will be in effect. Route 9 will be open. Drivers should consider seeking an alternate route to avoid traffic delays. Signage and police details will be in place to guide drivers.

The road work is dependent on weather conditions.
