UPAWS host Bissell Empty the Shelters Adoption event

GWINN, Mich. (WJMN) – From May 1st – May 15th, UPAWS will host the Bissell Empty the Shelters Adoption event.

For a limited time, you are able to get a new furry friend at a discounted rate. This includes dogs, cats, and small critters of any kind.

“This is our first Empty the Shelter Bissell Pet Foundation,” said Ann Brownell, Community Outreach & Volunteer Coordinator. “It runs from May1st to the 15th. There are over 400 shelters participating in the United States. It is there biggest one that they have had yet. So here at UPAWS 1st through the 15th it is a little bit different, cats and dogs that are one year up are on the promotion, a $0 to $50. Cats will be no fee u to $25. Also, we do not forget the little critters here at UPAWS. So, any little critter from goldfish, which we have to birds, to a lot of little bunnies they will be no more than $10.”

UPAWS is appointment based. Adoption includes spay, neuter vaccines, health check, microchip and more.
