Volunteers donate 1,500 care packages to inmates at Oklahoma County Detention Center
An Oklahoma City nonprofit and many volunteers reminded those detained at the Oklahoma County Detention Center that there are still people looking out for them. On Saturday, The Education and Employment Ministry, or TEEM, and more than 50 volunteers delivered care packages to the inmates inside the jail. The packages included snacks, hygiene products and other items like socks.

Turner Turnpike Reopened After Crash Near Luther
The eastbound lanes of the Turner Turnpike have been reopened Thursday morning after a crash southwest of Luther, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. OHP said the crash happened at around 2:30 a.m. near Hogback Road. The cause of the crash is not yet known.
